Online reservation system will be operated as follows from January 19, 2022.
*THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA DOES NOT CHARGE A FEE AT THE TIME OF APPOINMENT RESERVATION. IF ANYONE IS CAUGHT BUYING OR SELLING THE APPOINTMENT, SUCH INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP WILL BE BANNED FROM MAKING THE RESERVATION PERMANENTLY. *
1. The online reservation system for Visa and Consular Services from Monday to Friday:
a. VISA: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
b. Consular(Verification): Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
※ New Reservation can be made every day from 9:00AM to 17:00 (Nepali Time) only.
2. From April 1, 2023. The Embassy will require online appointment booking for Visa and Consular services for Fridays as well.
3. Please note that the embassy will cancel all duplicate reservations without notice and will impose restrictions on making further reservations for those who have a record of two or more no-shows. Please reserve only one spot per service. The booking can only be made for one slot per person during the period of 14 days.
4. In case of an urgent request for visa issuance, prior appointment must be confirmed by email (konepemb@mofa.go.kr). Kindly write email with valid reason for emergency and attach documents to support it, as the embassy shall not respond to mails which is not clear urgent or doesn’t contain any details. No phone calls.
※Emergency or Urgent reasons are as follows;
- Diplomatic/ Official Trips(Diplomatic/official passport with the official letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Ministry)
- Participating international events or competitions(Official invitation letter from the Government/Ministries of Korea)
- Humanatarian Reasons; Such as treatment of serious diseases or handling incidents (Medical certificate/other documentary evidence)
Please note that all visa applications are exclusive for only those who make reservations online.
(Those applying F-6 (Marriage Visa) or CCVI holders or above mentioned applicants can come and apply without online reservations.)
※ You must check and bring all required documents stated in the website. If any documents are missing, the embassy shall not receive the application. The applicant must come back with new appointment.

<Reservation>
1. Go to appointment website: konepembappointment.com
2. Select the service according to your need (VISA or CONSULAR)
3. Click on “Book an Appointment”
4. Select Date and Time,
5. Fill the details (Full Name, Email ID, Contact No.)
6. Check the terms and conditions
7. Enter Captcha and SUBMIT
8. You will be asked to confirm your reservation, kindly check if it is correct and confirm it.
9. After confirming, you can DOWNLOAD your reservation in PDF format, as well as the appointment mail will be sent to your email.
- Keep the Reference no. safe as you will need it in case you wish to cancel your appointment.
<When making an online reservation>
1. Only the person who needs the service should make an online reservation under his/her name to the service needed. (ID will be checked at the door)
2. During the two-week term, one person can only book one appointment per service
- If there are duplicate appointments booked for the same service, all other reservations except for the earliest reservation will be cancelled without notice.
- The embassy will cancel all duplicate reservations, as soon as they are spotted. The embassy will follow the appointment existing in our system only. The embassy will not accept any complaints or requests in regards to duplicate reservations.
3. Please cancel your reservation if you can't make it.
- You must cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
- You can cancel your reservation from the appointment website. Go to <My reservation> menu under your name. Enter your details and after checking your appointment, you can click on <CANCEL>. Your appointment will be cancelled and it cannot be undone.
4. Even if you made a reservation with us, we may have to cancel your reservation due to following reasons:
- If you book duplicate appointments with the same service.
- Due to unforeseen internal circumstances or emergency situations.
<Important notice>
1. Before visiting the Embassy, please check the official website of the embassy. (overseas.mofa.go.kr)
2. Be sure to prepare the fee in cash. (VISA fees will be in Nepali Rupees, and CONSULAR fees will be in USD)
3. Only the person with reservation will be admitted.
4. You will only be able to receive the service you made a reservation for; if you mistakenly made a reservation for a wrong service, you must revisit after correcting your reservation.
5. No family members or friends are allowed to enter with the person who has the reservation.
* In case of minor or elderly, who need assistance can bring 1 family member along.
